Derby County have announced the signing of experienced centre-back Danny Batth, with the 34-year-old joining the club on a free transfer. The veteran defender brings a wealth of experience to the Rams’ backline as they prepare for the upcoming Championship season.
Batth, who was most recently at Norwich City, joins John Eustace’s side following the expiration of his contract at Carrow Road. The move represents Derby’s intent to bolster their defensive options with seasoned leadership as they aim to solidify their return to the second tier.
With over 400 career appearances to his name, Batth is no stranger to the Championship.
