Manager who had 36% win ratio at Nottingham Forest now set for new job
A former manager of Nottingham Forest is now close to returning to management after a period out of action.
Forest have had a number of managers over the years with some enduring limited success.
It wasn’t until Steve Cooper came to the club in 2021 that Forest actually started to achieve some success.
He revived the club from top to bottom, securing promotion via the play-offs having taken over when Forest were bottom of the Championship.
Now, a manager who did some good stuff at Forest before Cooper is set to take over at another club.
Sabri Lamouchi set to take new job
Well, the Frenchman is set to grasp another opportunity after being given the boot by Cardiff City.
Forest enjoyed some really good moments under Lamouchi but he couldn’t return the glory days back to the City Ground.
Now, according to Darren Witcoop on X, Lanoucgh is set to return to Saudi Arabia and take charge of Al-Riyadh.
The boss has experience managing in the Middle East and it would seem that he’s set to get back in the hot seat.
Lamouchi left Forest with a win ratio of just shy of 37% and ultimately he failed to get the club back to the big time.
Still, he did a lot of good stuff at the club and did actually bring back the feel-good factor about watching Forest.
Lamouchi had an 18-game spell in charge of Cardiff and finished his time there with a win ratio of 33%.
