Santos and Hato Enjoy Wembley Dreams While Chelsea Aims for FA Cup Finals

Chelsea’s FA Cup semi-final date at Wembley later this month is a “dream” come true, according to Andrey Santos.

In a few weeks, the Blues and Leeds United will square off in England’s national stadium in an attempt to advance to the championship game. Santos and many other Chelsea players will be playing at the storied Wembley Stadium for the first time.

“It’s a dream for me,” Santos remarked. “After performing at Maracana, I now have the opportunity to perform at Wembley. I’m thrilled, and I hope we can perform well and win the match there.
The Brazilian continued, “I’m really delighted with our performance; it was a great win and a terrific performance,” in reference to the victory over Port Vale.

We must now go on and recuperate thoroughly because we have another crucial game the following week. We must now put in a lot of effort since we have a crucial home match against Manchester City the next week. We must concentrate on ourselves and perform our duties.

For us, that is the most crucial thing. Later this month, Santos’ Chelsea teammate Jorrel Hato will also make his Wembley debut. The Netherlands international, who, like Santos, scored in Port Vale’s 7-0 thrashing over the weekend, called it a “dream come true” for him personally.

“Playing at Wembley will be a dream come true,” Hato declared. In the FA Cup, it’s always challenging [against lower league teams], but we played effectively from the back, had a quick tempo, and generated numerous opportunities over the course of the ninety minutes. It was the ideal game since we scored seven goals.

Despite failing to defeat Leeds in their two games this season, Chelsea will enter the semi-final as heavy favorites. Before the two teams drew 2-2 at Stamford Bridge in February, the Whites prevailed 3-1 at Elland Road in December.

Liam Rosenior will also be managing a team at Wembley for the first time this month in the semi-final. “That’s what you dream about, but people keep asking me about what it means for me,” stated the head coach of Chelsea.

As the manager and head coach of a large team, it is considered usual for us to be in such circumstances. So when we get there, Wembley will be on my mind. I’m now totally focused on our big game against Manchester City on Sunday.
