Candace Parker, the legendary Lady Vols alumna and WNBA icon, is set to join Amazon Prime Video’s NBA coverage for the 2025–26 season. As part of the streaming service’s inaugural NBA studio show, Parker will serve as a studio analyst for both NBA and WNBA games. This move follows her retirement from the WNBA in 2024 and her tenure as a studio analyst for TNT Sports

Parker’s addition to Amazon’s team brings a wealth of experience and insight to the broadcast. She is a three-time WNBA champion, two-time Olympic gold medalist, and former MVP, known for her versatility and basketball IQ. Her role will also encompass leading Amazon’s expanded WNBA coverage starting in the 2026 season .

Amazon Prime Video’s 11-year, $20 billion media rights agreement with the NBA marks a significant shift in basketball broadcasting, with TNT stepping down after 34 years. The new lineup includes Hall of Famers Steve Nash and Dwyane Wade, longtime Miami Heat veteran Udonis Haslem, and former NBA stars Blake Griffin and Dirk Nowitzki .

This strategic expansion into NBA and WNBA coverage positions Amazon Prime Video as a formidable player in sports broadcasting, aiming to deliver comprehensive and engaging content to basketball fans worldwide.
