Breaking News: Five-Star WR Target Committed to the Tigers

Following his visits to each of his six finalists, Cederian Morgan has set a commitment date.

Cederian Morgan, a 2026 five-star receiver from Alexander City, Alabama, announced Wednesday that he will make his announcement on July 2, less than two weeks after concluding his summer official visit schedule. Morgan had previously announced his final six schools in February, including the Auburn Tigers.

Currently ranked among the class’ top five receivers, Morgan will travel to Colorado on Friday, Georgia on May 16, Clemson on May 30, Florida on June 6, Auburn on June 13, and Alabama on June 20 to see all six of his finalists.

After Auburn seemed to have the lead throughout 2024, in-state Alabama now seems to be leading Morgan’s recruitment, even though Florida is in the running and might make a big push after hosting Morgan. On3’s Recruiting Prediction Machine made a prediction on April 27 that Alabama has an 89.4 percent chance.

After his June 13 visit, Auburn might make a move, as they have in the past.

In reference to a previous tour with the Tigers, Morgan told On3 that “the environment is great.” It feels like a large family, including the coaches, supporters, and family. Every time I come here, I feel excited.

With seven commits overall, including two receivers, the Tigers are off to a comparatively good start in their 2026 recruiting class. Three-star Denairius Gray of Hollywood (Fla.) Chaminade-Madonna and four-star Devin Carter of Douglasville (Ga.) Douglas County have committed to Auburn.
