The Indiana Fever and WTHR, the NBC affiliate in Indianapolis, have announced the extension of their multi-year broadcast agreement, ensuring that fans across central Indiana will have access to a record number of games during the 2025 WNBA season.

Expanded Coverage for 2025 Season

Under the new agreement, 18 Fever games—14 on WTHR and 4 on WALV—will be available for free over-the-air to fans in central Indiana. This expanded coverage represents more than one-third of the team’s 2025 regular season games, providing unprecedented access to the Fever’s exciting matchups. The partnership aims to enhance fan engagement and bring the thrill of live WNBA action to a broader audience.

Strategic Partnership with TEGNA

In addition to the local broadcast agreement, the Fever have partnered with TEGNA Inc., the parent company of WTHR, to expand their broadcast distribution into 11 additional markets. This collaboration will make 17 Fever games available over the air in regions including Iowa, Kentucky, Ohio, and Indiana, reaching an estimated 4.6 million households. Notably, this expansion includes coverage in Iowa, Caitlin Clark’s home state, which is expected to boost viewership and fan support .

The 2025 season features standout players such as Caitlin Clark, the No. 1 overall pick in the 2025 WNBA Draft, and 2023 Rookie of the Year Aliyah Boston.
