With a 60% likelihood of leaving at the end of the current campaign, former Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca has emerged as the front-runner to follow Pep Guardiola at Manchester City.
Enzo Maresca’s Chelsea tenure is still a case of what might have been. He delivered the UEFA Conference League and a historic FIFA Club World Cup championship in just 18 months, giving the BlueCo enterprise the success it had been longing for.
But Liam Rosenior has found it difficult to fill the vacuum created by his departure. Chelsea’s consistency has diminished since Maresca left, and calls for new management have already been made.
It’s interesting to note that Maresca is currently considered by many to be Manchester City’s heir apparent, with a 60% probability of succeeding Pep Guardiola this summer.
Clearlake is willing to buy out Todd Boehly and raise their ownership even further, but they won’t sell Chelsea.
Pep Guardiola is expected to be replaced by Enzo Maresca.
According to Alex Crook on TalkSPORT’s Premier League All Access show, Maresca is a “tap in” for the City position when Guardiola departs.
It’s almost a given that Enzo Maresca will inherit the kingdom if he departs.
“Vincent Kompany may have been the top pick, in my opinion, but he’s smart enough to wait and be the successor to the successor, if you like. ” He is undoubtedly succeeding at Bayern Munich.
“I would estimate that 60% of Guardiola goes at the conclusion of the season if I were a betting man speaking to people close to the football club and journalists who cover the team on a regular basis.”
Naturally, center back. Mike Penders can return to start in goal, but other than Colwill, none of our other CBs are anywhere close to being elite.
Sell the two goalkeepers, Fofana and Badesile, and loan Sarr and Guiu; they don’t have any potential.
Enzo Maresca is still desired by Chelsea supporters.
Even with Liam Rosenior in charge, Chelsea supporters expressed their disapproval of Enzo Maresca by requesting that he return in his most recent Instagram post.
Since then, even Enzo Fernandez has commented on Maresca’s leaving.
“I also don’t get it. There are instances when athletes attempt to handle situations in ways that we don’t fully comprehend. Since we had an identity, it was obviously a departure that caused us great pain. He gave us an order, despite the fact that football can be both good and horrible at times.
But when it came to training and playing, he always had a very distinct personality. His leaving clearly upset us a lot, especially in the middle of the season; it cuts everything short.
