Stray Kids Repeat History With Their Fourth Consecutive Top IFPI Ranking

Officially preparing for what insiders are already describing as their most ambitious live show to date, Stray Kids is a global K-pop phenomenon.

Placing No. 2 on this year’s IFPI Global Artist Chart, Stray Kids has once again demonstrated their dominance on a global scale, while Seventeen, another K-pop powerhouse, came in at number 14.

Stray Kids claimed the second-place position based on global physical album sales, digital downloads, and streaming performance, according to the International Federation of the Phonographic Industry (IFPI), which released the 2025 Global Artist Chart on Wednesday via its official website and social media channels.

Being the only K-pop artist to make it into the top 10, Stray Kids was ranked alongside international giants like Taylor Swift, Drake, The Weeknd, and Bad Bunny this year.

They have achieved this milestone for the fourth year in a row in the top flight. The group has progressively risen the charts since debuting at No. 7 in 2022, reaching their greatest position to date and solidifying their position as one of the most commercially successful acts in international music.

Their 2025 momentum was fueled by a series of noteworthy accomplishments. The first band in history to have eight consecutive albums debut at the top of the Billboard 200 is Stray Kids. In addition to drawing enormous crowds around the globe with their Stray Kids World Tour, the group has won big accolades at important music awards shows.

Seventeen, on the other hand, came in at number 14 on the same IFPI chart, which is indicative of their consistent global appeal and solid album sales results in important areas.

In the future, Stray Kids will play as the main act at important international festivals, such as Rock in Rio on September 11 (local time) and The Governors Ball Music Festival in New York on June 6.

Stray Kids 6th FANMEETING “STAY in Our Little House,” their sixth official fan gathering, will take place domestically at Inspire Arena in Incheon on March 28–29 and April 4–5. In order to engage with their worldwide fandom, STAY, the March 29 and April 5 performances will also be livestreamed on the Beyond LIVE platform.
