It is quite common for FC Barcelona to keep an eye on promising talents. Irrespective of where they come from, the Catalan club is known for developing and putting its faith in youngsters. Recently, a new name has been linked to Barça as well.
Interestingly, however, the young player now being linked to the club has also caught the attention of rivals Real Madrid. When both of these clubs happen to share interest in the same player, there is often a good chance that the player in question is something special.
The player in question, as per is a 16-year-old English winger named Jeremy Monga. Currently playing for EFL Championship side Leicester City, he recently also scored his first-ever professional goal for them.
A dynamic player, the left-footed winger offers creativity and versatility thanks to his ability to play on both wings. However, while he is important to Leicester City’s plans for now and the future as they look to aim for promotion, a big offer from the likes of Barça or Los Blancos would be hard to say no to.
As for the whole procedure of potentially acquiring Monga’s signature, it would not be a short process. Given that the player is 16, the interested clubs would not be allowed to sign him just yet, and a pre-agreement with his current club would have to be signed.
