Rafa Nadal ended his career this season, culminating a successful career that spanned more than 20 years at the highest professional level and during which he won a total of 92 professional titles.
Rafa, who was world No. 1 for 209 weeks (the sixth-longest run in history), received the affection of the entire Rafa Nadal Academy by Movistar team at the traditional annual Christmas dinner on Friday night.
Maribel Nadal, sister and deputy director general of the Academy, presented her with a trophy in recognition of her career and legacy, which includes all the individual titles she has earned since winning her first crown in Sopot in 2004 to her most recent at Roland Garros in 2022.
The trophy, in addition to the word “THANK YOU” in capital letters, is screen-printed with the following achievements of the Spanish champion:

– 209 weeks as World No. 1 – 92 individual titles
– 63 clay court titles
– 36 ATP Masters 1000

After collecting the trophy with the number ’92’ that certifies the number of successes he has achieved over the years on the ATP Tour, Rafa thanked the Academy staff for their dedication, clarifying that 2024 has been a very special year for him and encouraging everyone to continue giving their all for 2025.
