WNBA All-Star Sends Strong Warning to Angel Reese

Angel Reese is headed to the WNBA All-Star game for the second time in her career.

Reese has been playing through her second season with the Chicago Sky, putting together another successful season.

While Reese is headed to the All-Star game, she will be joined by a former teammate, whom she played with in the Unrivaled League; Brittney Sykes.

Sykes was recently asked about Reese’s skill set as she heads to her second All-Star game in just two WNBA seasons.

The Washington Mystics stars deemed Reese as a juggernaut with tremendous skill on both ends of the floor.

“Oh man she’s finishing better at the rim,” Sykes said, per Kareem Copeland. “She’s always been a juggernaut. Had a nose for the ball offensively and defensively. But just always getting her teammates involved and opening up her mind to how to facilitate in the full court. That’s not an easy task. No pun intended, it’s a tall task to handle especially as somebody her size.

Sykes also complimented Reese on her athleticism and IQ, seemingly referring to the Chicago Sky star as the full package between the white lines.

“With her athleticism and her IQ and just her will to want to do those things, she’s gotten better at them and she keeps getting better at them.”

During her second season with the Chicago Sky, Angel Reese has posted 12.6 points, 12.8 rebounds and 3.9 assists per game.

Reese has also been effective on the defensive end with 1.6 steals and 0.6 blocks per game.

Brittney Sykes, who’s currently playing in her third season with the Washington Mystics and her ninth season in the WNBA, has posted 17.9 points, 3.9 rebounds and 4.6 assists per game.
