Derby County are not just concentrating their efforts on the pitch ahead of the new Championship season, but there are plenty of changes happening off it.
Pride Park is undergoing some key alterations ahead of the new campaign, with the pitch currently undergoing a complete overhaul.
The first-team dressing rooms are also being refurbished while the club is also planning on some new signage for the front of the stadium that are likely to be of a historical tone.
Not content with that, the pitches at the club’s training ground Moor Farm have all undergone major work as well as academy dressing rooms.
Derby chief executive Stephen Pearce said: “The first team dressing room (at Pride Park) is getting a full new modern refurb.
“I don’t think anything has been done since the stadium was built in 97 I would imagine.
“It’s well overdue and I think that is part of the culture, the matchday feel, a winning mentality and to make sure the dressing rooms are up to modern standards so that’s a great thing.
“Some signage has been taken down from the front of the stadium.
“We are looking at planning what we do in terms of a heritage perspective, past players and honouring them.
“We have talked about that previously as well.
“That should come out shortly.
“At Moor Farm, all the pitches have been renovated this season as well.
“We’ve made a few changes internally, again, in line with what John Eustace (head coach) wants around the whole one club mentality in terms of the signage and the messaging.
“In terms of the academy side of things, there have been some changes to first-team dressing rooms and under-21s dressing rooms.
“There is a hell of a lot of work going on at the moment for the maintenance team.”
