Gabriel Vidović has completed a permanent move from Bayern Munich to Dinamo Zagreb.

The Croatian club have reportedly paid €1 million to sign the 21-year-old, who had one year remaining on his contract with Bayern.

“Gabriel Vidović learned his trade at our FC Bayern Campus and then continued to develop through our loan concept, accepting every challenge,” said Bayern sporting director Christoph Freund.

“Now is the right time for the next step in his career. We would like to thank him for his commitment and wish him continued success both on a sporting and personal level.”

Vidović made eight senior appearances for Bayern’s senior side and spent time on loan at Vitesse, Dinamo Zagreb, and most recently Mainz.

Barça is clear that one of its priorities for this transfer window is to strengthen the left winger position. Despite having Raphinha and Lamine Yamal as starters on the wings, the coaching staff believes there is a lack of depth and alternatives. That’s why Flick has requested a player who can compete for a spot and provide imbalance from day one.

In a desperately one-sided contest, Jamal Musiala scored a hat-trick and Thomas Muller, Michael Olise and Kingsley Coman all scored two goals.

Sacha Boey scored the other with England captain Harry Kane unable to get in on the act before being subbed off on the hour mark.

It would have been even worse for Auckland City, who are part-time, had it not been for Conor Tracey, who made a number of saves to limit the damage.

Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich jump to the top of Club World Cup Group C while Auckland City, winners of the Oceania Champions League in each of the past four years, are bottom.

Portuguese club Benfica and Argentine giants Boca Juniors are the other two sides in that group looking to progress to the knockout stages.
