With the Philadelphia Eagles, A.J. Brown has made headlines many times, but Wednesday was for the best reason.
Since joining the team three years ago, A.J. Brown has been a star and All-Pro for the Philadelphia Eagles. The talented receiver has been a model teammate in the locker room despite all the unfounded reports.
Additionally, he is a model city dweller.
Mayor Cherelle Parker presented Brown with the first-ever “Making a Better Philly Changemaker Award” this week. The 27-year-old made it apparent how significant the city has become to him and his family in an interview with Hayden Mitman of NBC10 Philadelphia.
Regarding the honor, Brown stated, “For me, it’s just about conveying the love that I have in my heart.” “As a child, I always hoped that someone would return and just guide and lead us. However, regrettably, we lacked that. I therefore declared, “I will give back to the community if I make it to the NFL or whatever I do.” I’m happy to report that Philadelphia has become my home.
Over the past few seasons, radio hosts have speculated about Brown in an attempt to increase attention, making him the focus of trade speculations. Philadelphia has often stated that it has no plans to move him anytime soon.
The Eagles and Brown have a big cap hit and a Super Bowl championship under their belts, so they aren’t planning on splitting up just yet.
He and his family are extremely adored in the City of Brotherly Love, as seen by the most recent award.
